New York City Trip

This year will be MMBA's third NYC trip! For all attendees, this is an opportunity to meet company representatives, get off campus, enjoy great food, and come away with much knowledge about various financial services careers.

If selected to attend, this trip will be free of cost to you. Round-trip transportation and two meals are included. This will be an all-day event happening on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Keep in mind that this is also Patriots Day weekend therefore Monday and Tuesday are MIT holidays! A more detailed agenda is on the application link below.

MMBA executive board members hosted a group of middle and high school students at MIT for a day. Highlights include a guided tour of campus and an engineering design competition in which students were challenged to build bridges out of popsicle sticks.
The first year of the mentorship program concluded with with presentations by mentees, discussion of the help the program provided, and a meal with some of the sponsors who helped the program get off the ground.
J.P. Morgan traders helped lead a sales and trading competition on campus. The event drew students of all interests and backgrounds (many of which with no context of S&T).
Some Mentorship Program 2010 mentees travelled to New York City for a day trip. Highlights included meeting with members of BAMIT (Black Alumni of MIT) for lunch and J.P. Morgan employees from all lines of business for dinner.
MMBA began its active publicity on campus by attending the MIT Activities Midway. Many people were curious and interested to learn more about this new group on campus!
