About Me

I am a Ph.D. student of Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. I joined the program in Fall 2010, and have been working under the supervision of Juan Pablo Vielma (MIT) since then. I am currently a visiting Ph.D. student at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I obtained my M.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Prior to that, I graduated from Sharif University of Technology in 2009, with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. My research interests include theory and applications for linear and non-linear Mixed Integer Programming, social data analytics and data-driven decision making.
