Each Eastern Orthodox Serbian family has a particular Patron Saint. The same Patron Saint becomes the protector of the family of each of the sons, and this tradition goes back to the time when one's ancestors accepted Christianity. Besides families, a tradition is that firms, associations and institutions also have a Patron Saint. This gives all members of the community an additional responsibility not to diverge from the righteous path of their Patron Saint, and stands as a source of spiritual strength.

The Patron Saint of MOST is St. Simeon the Myrhflowing. Stefan Nemanja, by his secular name, the Great Zupan of Serbia (1168-1196) was the founder of the Nemanjic dinasty.
