From June through January, MOSTEC will serve over 100 students from across the country. We have a number of facilitator positions open for interested and qualified candidates.

Head Facilitator | Assistant Head Facilitator
Term of employment: May 18, 2013 - January 18, 2014
Stipend: $3,500 | $3,000

• Work with MOSTEC Program Coordinator and other Head Facilitator to lead MOSTEC staff and manage students
• Assist in data collection and analysis via Google Analytics, Ning Analytics, surveys, etc.
• Assist in all MOSTEC logistics, including MOSTEC Conference planning and implementation and other MOSTEC administrative duties

Community Facilitator
Term of employment: June 29, 2013 - January 18, 2014
Stipend: $2,500

• Mentor a cluster of 8-10 high school seniors and facilitate educational and social interactions
• Develop and implement strategies to improve online community activity, following up with students and staff as necessary
• Monitor and analyze MOSTEC activity
• Assist in the implementation of the MOSTEC Conference during the summer

Online Facilitator (OF) - Blogger
Term of employment: June 29, 2013 - January 18, 2014
Stipend: $2,500

• Mentor a cluster of 8-10 high school seniors and facilitate educational and social interactions
• Blog weekly on various topics related to STEM and how STEM relates to social issues, college admissions, and self-efficacy
• Develop and implement a calendar of weekly blog prompts for students and staff
• Assist in the implementation of the MOSTEC Conference during the summer

Online Facilitator (OF) - Content Facilitator
Term of employment: June 29, 2013 - January 18, 2014
Stipend: $2,500

• Mentor a cluster of 8-10 high school seniors and facilitate educational and social interactions
• Lead the implementation of online enrichment content: locate and post videos and articles related to different STEM fields in research, current events, and industry
• Work with MOSTEC leadership to coordinate webinars
• Assist in the implementation of the MOSTEC Conference during the summer
