NARTREK successful "D" flight.

I bought this kit primarily to satisfy the need for a D engine flight in my quest for NARTREK Bronze. Reviews online suggested that this was a bit more challenging kit to construct than others in its class and I wanted something that would require a bit more effort.

I really like the look of this rocket, and on a D engine it is slow enough off the pad to look very realistic. A lot of fun to fly. However, the fins are too weak for their size and are far too prone to breaking. I find that I have to catch the model on recovery in order to prevent it from breaking a fin.

I'm tempted to build an upscape scratch version of this rocket with more sturdy materials, simply because I like the look of it so much.
