2007/2008 Season

We will hold two performances of our Annual Show, on Friday May 16th and Saturday May 17th in Little Kresge theater.

 




2003/2004 Season

In October we performed two new pieces at the Family Weekend Luncheon.




2002/2003 Season

Our Annual Show was on May 17th in MIT's Big Kresge Theatre.

On November 23rd  performed  No More Pain at Boston University in the Grand Ballroom of the George Sherman Union.

In October we performed at the Family Weekend Luncheon.




2001/2002 Season

Sunday May 5th join us as we put on a show at Roxbury's Media Arts Center. On Saturday, May 4th, we will also be hosting a concert in MIT's La Sala. Our special guests at both shows include Gumboot and Mocha Moves.

On October 20th we peformed Hannibal at the Family Weekend Luncheon.



2000/2001 Season

On Sunday April 22, 2001, we held our annual Spring performance in Big Kresge.
We will also be performing on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at the Trotter School.


On November 19, 2000, we presented our fall preview show
Moving with Movements in Big Kresge
Praisedance, Mocha Moves and the African Students Association also performed.

1999/2000 Season
Our Spring Concert for the 1999/2000 season was at the Roxbury Community College's Media Arts Center on Saturday, April 29th. The performance featured a total of 17 pieces.
On Sunday, April 9th, we held our first major performance of the
semester, titled Liquid Sky. The performance was in Kresge Main Auditorium
on MIT's campus at 2.30pm. It was blend of old and new pieces.
On Saturday, March 4th, we performed Sinnerman at Sankofa,
the Harvard Black Arts Festival's grand finale.
On Friday, February 4th, we performed at A Jazz Homecoming.
The show was held at 8.00pm in Kresge Auditorium, and we
performed a number of short pieces to live music.
On Friday, November 12th, we held our first major performance of the
1999/2000 season. The performance was held in Kresge Auditorium, at 7.30pm,
and featured a number of other MIT dance groups, including MITCAN, Dance Troupe,
Mocha Moves, and the African Students Association's Gumboot Dance.

On Saturday, November 6th, we performed Everwanting, Sweet Sorrow
and Summertime at an Institute fund-raiser to be held in the Rockwell Cage.
The performance took place around 8.00pm.

On Saturday, October 16th, we performed Count on Me
and Summertime at the Family Weekend Luncheon.

Our first performance of the 1999/2000 season was
at English High School, Jamaica Plains, on Sunday, October 10th.
We performed Fix Me Jesus and Count on Me.



1998/1999 Season
Our last performance for the 1998/1999 season was at
the Crosby Elementary School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Our Spring Concert for the 1998/1999 season was at the Roxbury Community College's Media Arts Center on Saturday, May 1st. For more information and a look at the poster, please go here.
