![]() MIT Chamber Orchestra Dante Anzolini, Director. Founded in 1999, the chamber orchestra is comprised of highly skilled MIT and Wellesley students performing under the direction of Prof. Dante Anzolini. It presents 2 major concerts per academic year plus additional ad hoc performances on and off-campus. The ensemble performs a broad range of repertoire each concert season from the Baroque to the Contemporary. Soloists are drawn from the group itself. Membership is by audition only. Auditions are by appointment through the Concerts Office, 4-243. Prospective members should prepare a work from the standard string repertoire which best demonstrates their musicianship and ability. May be taken for credit via special topics in music: 21M.531.
