The MIT Wind Ensemble

Repertoire may include Mozart, Dvorak, and contemporary serenades, brass ensemble music from Gabrieli to Schuller, and various mixed media including strings. The Wind Ensemble also occasionally commissions works for flexible instrumentation and features student or professional soloists. Four concerts are presented each year on campus and at venues throughout Boston. Rehearsals are held Mondays and Wednesdays 7:30 - 10:00 PM in Kresge Auditorium. Membership is by audition only. May be taken for credit: 21M426.
