Piano Lab
The piano and computer music lab is located in the basement of Building 4. The space includes ten networked digital pianos each companioned with a computer station loaded with music editing, ear training/sight singing and theory/analysis software. Three small, sound-proofed composition studios each house state-of-the-art computer equipment, synthesizers, mixers, DAT, speakers, tape decks, CD-ROM players and makers, and appropriate software. A seminar room and instrument lockers are also part of this space. Students taking 21M051, 21M052, 21M301, and 21M302 are granted access to this space to use as part of completing the course lab requirement.
