Kim Mancuso has been a Lecturer in Theater Arts since 1989 and is Artistic Director and co-founder of Boston’s Pilgrim Theatre Research and Performance Collaborative. Recently, her production of Letters from Sarajevo was featured in a Monitor Radio international broadcast; Guys Dreamin’ was performed at LaMama E.T.C. in New York; she directed a new opera based on Gertrude Stein’s play Look and Long at Smith College; and Pilgrim Theatre was named one of four resident companies at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA). Her production of Jean-Claude van Itallie’s The Tibetan Book of the Dead played in the Cyclorama at the BCA in August 1998 and she is also at work on a cabaret production of the songs and monologues of Bertolt Brecht. She holds degrees from New York University and the Yale School of Drama. At present she teaches acting and movement courses in MIT’s Theater Arts program.
