Mujeres Latinas Alumni Empowerment Conference - 4/3/2010

As you know, Mujeres Latinas is a continuously growing organization at MIT and part of our mission is to promote the success of Latinas by providing support and guidance in their endeavors as well as to raise awareness among the MIT community about the issues affecting Latinas today.

Our first Alumni Empowerment Conference was a day of knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and reminiscing with recent MIT Latina Alum! There was MIT staff and MIT faculty to learn from and network with. Having a personal connection with such successful women who had a range of experiences at MIT did wonders for the current Mujeres Latinas general body and anyone who wanted to learn more about what the Latina community at MIT has been through over the past decade.
