MIT News at Noon will take place every Friday
Beginning October 26th - December 7th, 2012
CAMBRIDGE, MA - October 8, 2012 – The MIT Museum, in partnership with the MIT News Office, will host a series of networking lunches, MIT News at Noon, that will take place on Fridays beginning October 26th and continue through Friday, December 7th. These new programs are free and open to the public, and will feature lunchtime discussions with MIT visionaries who have appeared on the homepage of the MIT News just the week before. Local businesses and the public are invited to bring colleagues and their lunch to the MIT Museum for this opportunity to network and meet news makers in person in an informal setting. Speakers will be announced each week on the MIT Museum’s calendar and facebook accounts, following the featured article on the MIT News homepage.
"Through this unique collaboration with the MIT News Office, we are creating networking opportunities for local professionals that are both informative and beneficial," said Brindha Muniappan, MIT Museum Director of Programs. "By connecting some of the amazing scientists at MIT with our neighborhood communities, we hope to initiate new discussions and collaborations about cutting-edge research,” said Muniappan. "We are constantly striving to be a better nexus for our Cambridge neighbors to access science and technology at MIT."
