Summer Exhibition of MIT Student Work
The MIT Museum invites proposals from MIT teaching staff and students for student project works, undertaken during the current academic year, to be included in a new Summer Exhibition of MIT Student Work that will be unveiled in the Museum's main galleries at 265 Massachusetts Avenue in time for Commencement in June 2014!
With the support of the Council for the Arts at MIT (CAMIT), the MIT Museum's new Summer Exhibition of MIT Student Work will showcase the creative talents of MIT students to the tens of thousands of people, from all over the world, who visit the MIT Museum every summer. Drawn from across the Institute, displayed works - designs, models, test pieces, prototypes, art-works, etc. - will exemplify the Institute's legendary values of creativity, ingenuity, and practical problem solving.
MIT Museum exhibition staff will work with students whose work is selected for inclusion in the exhibition, to adapt their work for purposes of public display. Candidate project works for inclusion in the exhibition may be created by undergraduates or graduate students, by individual students or groups of students, in the course of classwork or through the activities of student clubs, and during the fall semester 2013, IAP 2014, or the spring semester 2014.
MIT teaching staff and/or students who wish to propose student project work for inclusion in the exhibition should complete the submission form or contact the Museum (see below).
February 23, 2014 at Midnight EST
Teams or individuals should fill out an Submission Form
Faculty or other MIT staff may propose student work via email to the address below.
