Training day results from last year may be found here.

On January 27, 2007, all of the instructors of this year's twenty teams competing in the third annual Rube Goldberg machine design contest attended teacher training day at the MIT Museum. The training consisted of information about the contest, changes to the rules, tool safety training, lunch, a crash course on thinking like an engineer, and several hands-on physics experiments led by MIT student mentors.

The 2007 contest task is revealed! Apply toothpaste to a toothbrush. Completion of the task will be measured by the mass of toothpaste applied to the toothbrush -- hence the electronic scales.
