The horn antenna sends radiation which is transmitted by wood and glass in
the upper part of the photograph, and ionizes a neon lamp to indicate its
intensity. In the bottom half of the photograph, the path through the
water in the glass container, the radiation is reflected by the water and
the lower neon bulb is not ionized and hence not lighted.
