I was born in Patna, India to Late Prof. Kamalendu Chatterjee (father) and Dr. Dipali Chatterjee (mother). I am the younger of two brothers; my elder brother, Suranjan, is an engineer at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, India. My wife's name is Rashi. We have two sons, Gaurav and Arnav.
