Abstracts are invited for presentation at NELS 40, which will take place at MIT in Cambridge, MA, on November 13-15, 2009.
All talks will be 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for discussion.
Submissions are limited to at most two abstracts per author, at most one of which is single-authored.
The deadline for abstract submission is August 7th, 2009.
Abstracts should be no more than 2 pages long (a4 or letter-sized), in 11 pt. font, with 1-inch or 2.5-cm margins. This includes data (which can be interspersed throughout the text), and references.
For abstract submission, we will be using the LinguistList’s Easy‑Abstracts facility. To submit an abstract, please go to:
http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/nels40
NELS 40 will also include two topic-specific workshops. For details, as well as calls for papers, see the workshops page.
note: The abstracts-per-author restrictions mentioned here apply to the general session; in addition, an author can submit up to one additional abstract to each workshop, which do not count towards the general session’s tally. If the same abstract is submitted and accepted to both the main session and a workshop, the NELS 40 committee will determine where it appears.
