CEE honors four undergraduates at senior dinner

The following prize and awards were announced at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering senior dinner on May 1.

The Steinberg Prize for academic achievement and demonstrable interest in construction management by an undergraduate was presented to Jennifer L. Burtz, a civil engineering senior from Hollywood, FL.

The Richard Lee Russel Award for outstanding undergraduates who plan to continue with graduate study at the Institute or elsewhere was presented to environmental engineering science seniors Hannah Sullivan of Jaffrey, NH and Heather Lukas of Canvas, WV.

The Leo '24 and Mary Grossman Award for an undergraduate with a strong interest in transportation and a strong academic record was presented to Yanni Tsipis, a civil engineering senior from Brookline, MA.
