Endicott House celebrated 50 years as part of the MIT family with a new book detailing the history of the families who once lived on the estate in Dedham, Mass. The original house, Rockweld (photo at far left), was built around the time of the Civil War by the grandfather of Rose Weld Baldwin (far right), who attended a celebration event at the house Jan. 17, with Priscilla and Bradford Endicott, siblings whose father later built Endicott House on the site where Rockweld once stood.
