Author draws a bead on Bollywood at April 2 talk

Stephen Alter, a former writer-in-residence at MIT who was born and raised in India, will deliver a talk titled "Fantasies of a Bollywood Love Thief: Inside the World of Indian Moviemaking," on Monday, April 2, in Room 6-120 at 7 p.m.

The author of seven books of fiction and four of non-fiction, Alter was a recipient of a Fulbright grant. His latest work is a behind-the-scenes look at the movie-mad world of Bollywood. Sponsored by the MIT Program in Writing and Humanistic Studies and the MIT-India Program, the talk is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 617-253-7894.
