IAP 'Charm School' classes, commencement on Feb. 2How do I ask for a date? Which bread plate is mine? At what point in a job interview can I ask about salary? Should I use a cell phone while walking down Newbury Street? Come to Charm School and find out the answers to these questions and more. The 14th iteration of MIT's famed, funny Charm School will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, in the MIT Stratton Student Center. Classes are held from noon to 4 p.m. on the second and third floors. No pre-registration is required; students are free to choose from the many topics offered. In addition to the etiquette mini-classes, Charm School will feature a few special events. The event culminates in commencement exercises in the Lobdell Dining Room at 4 p.m. Bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. "degrees" in charm and, new this year, minors in leadership will be awarded.
