ObituaryNancy Vandom Sotak, 73Nancy Vandom Sotak, 73, former secretary to the associate head of optics in Division 5 at Lincoln Laboratory, died Sept. 17 at Lahey Clinic following a cerebral hemorrhage. A member of the MIT Quarter Century Club, she joined Lincoln Laboratory in 1973 and retired in 1999. She was born in Los Angeles and raised in Reseda, Calif. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur E. Sotak, two daughters, a brother, and two nieces and a nephew. A service was held Sept. 20 at Westview Cemetery in Lexington, Mass.
