Siemens Competition finalists exhibit projects at MIT Nov. 9-10

The New England regional finals of the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology, a scholarship and awards program, will be held at MIT on Nov. 9 and 10.

Projects will be exhibited from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 in the Twenty Chimneys Room on the third floor of the Stratton Student Center. Oral presentations will run from 7:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10.

Winners will advance to the national finals next month in New York, where they will compete for a top individual prize of $3,000. Members of the top team will share a $100,000 scholarship.

The Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology is a signature program of the Siemens Foundation, which provides more than $2 million in college scholarships and awards each year for talented high school students in the United States.
