A new technique enables the conversion of an ordinary camera into a light-field camera capable of recording high-resolution, multiperspective images.
A memorial service for J. Mark Schuster will be held in Bartos Theater at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, followed by aÂ reception in the adjacent atrium.
Schuster, who passed away Feb. 25 at the age of 57, was a professor of urban studies and planning who joined the MIT faculty in 1978.Â He was an expert on arts funding policies and a respected leader of First Night and other Boston cultural events.
