At MIT's last H1N1 walk-in clinic in December, more than 1,800 people got shots — with an average wait time of just six minutes. Organizers are anticipating similarly smooth operations at the upcoming walk-in clinic scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Stratton Student Center.
The clinic, which is the last such event planned for this year, will be open to MIT community members ages 10 and up — MIT students, MIT Health Plan members, and MIT and Lincoln Lab employees, now including people older than 65. The clinic is also open to employees of Whitehead, Draper or Broad who are MIT Health Plan members.
In addition, Lincoln Laboratory is hosting an H1N1 walk-in clinic for
Lincoln employees on Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in AC120 (the
room outside the cafeteria). And on Jan. 21, a walk-in clinic will
be held for MIT Medical Pediatrics patients 6 months and up, from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. in E25-119.
