A memorial service for Art Smith, the late dean for undergraduate education and student affairs, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 in the Kirsch Auditorium in the Stata Center. The MIT community is welcome.
Smith, an electrical-engineering professor who made meaningful contributions to student life and learning during nearly a half-century of dedicated service to MIT, died in April at the age of 80.
