An historic snow storm rolled through New England on Feb. 8 and 9, closing down much of the region — including MIT. Community members used the opportunity for some midwinter entertainment, and a student-organized snowball fight on Killian Court drew many participants, including MIT President L. Rafael Reif and his wife, Christine.
