directions to the MIT News Office

To reach the News Office, Room 11-400, from MIT's main entrance at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, walk straight ahead through Lobby 7 down the central corridor to the first staircase on your right, which is opposite the entrance to the Student Services Center. Go to the 2nd floor, turn to your right, and proceed directly across the corridor into Building 11. Walk to the end of the hallway, where there will be a door to a staircase on your left and an elevator on your right. Take either to the 4th floor.

Elevators on the first floor (Lobby 7, Student Services Center) provide handicap accessibility to the second floor.

The News Office is not accessible from the third or fourth floors of adjacent buildings.
