Free tickets available for Dudamel events

Starting today, MIT community members can get free tickets to conductor Gustavo Dudamel's events on April 16 and 17.
Dudamel, currently the music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, was named the 2010 recipient of the Eugene McDermott Award in the Arts from The Council for the Arts at MIT. His infectious energy and exceptional artistry have made him one of the most sought-after conductors by orchestras and opera companies around the world. (Download free music by Dudamel)

Saturday, April 17, 2 p.m., Kresge Auditorium Panel discussion with Gustavo Dudamel, John Harbison and Tod Machover, moderated by PBS Journalist Maria Hinojosa Tickets: www.regonline.com/mcdermott_award_April17
Both events will be simulcast to room 10-250; no tickets required.
Limited release tickets to the MIT community will be available from today at noon through Thursday, April 8, at noon. To sign up, you must have an MIT e-mail address. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one ticket per event.
