Crisis in Europe: Origins, Options and Implications for the Global Economy
November 7, 2011
Europe's financial crisis is threatening to undo the European Union (EU) and is seriously affecting the global economy — the United States included. What can be expected and what should be done?
Nicolas Véron, senior fellow at Bruegel and visiting fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, will discuss the situation with MIT Political Science Professor David Singer from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 7, in E51-335. The event is free and open to the public.
The event is co-sponsored by the Center for International Studies, MISTI and the Department of Political Science.
