At Monday's event, attendees will learn about the design and operation of a floating rescue beacon for boaters, an automated trash can washer for institutions and public works, and a flameless food-heating pot for backpackers. Students' prototypes will also include an innovative beer-keg delivery dolly, a bicycle navigation system with haptic signaling and a small-farm spinach and greens harvester.
A reception in the Kresge lobby will follow the show, and guests will have the opportunity to meet the teams and try out the prototypes.
