The Road from Copenhagen

This panel discussion will examine the issues and next steps in the aftermath of the December 2009 Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change.
Taking place from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, in 34-101, this policy-focused program will include information about:
- Economic and climate implications of the Copenhagen Accord
- U.S. path forward and Congressional politics
- International institutional issues for climate action
- China's path forward
Ernest Moniz, director of the MIT Energy Initiative, will moderate the panel comprising William Bonvillian, director, MIT Washington D.C. office; Michael Greenstone, the 3M Professor of Environmental Economics; Henry Jacoby, professor, Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change; Rob Stavins, Harvard's Albert Pratt Professor of Business and Government; and Edward Steinfeld, associate professor, Department of Political Science.
