The Office of Admissions needs your help
February 9, 2010
MIT's Campus Preview Weekend (CPW) — taking place this year from Thursday, April 8, through Sunday, April 11 — is a chance for students admitted to the Class of 2014 to experience what MIT is all about, live and in person.
In order to show them MIT's campus, culture and community, the Office of Admissions needs community members to show them their favorite parts of the Institute. If you are interested in helping during CPW, consider:
Publishing an event
The Office of Admissions needs the entire MIT community to host events that showcase the people and possibilities that make MIT so very MIT. How about a tour of your research lab? An open house with the members of your campus club or sports team? A department reception with eminent professors and tasty snacks?
Hosting a prefrosh
Current students may host prefrosh in their living groups.
Volunteering to help out
Assist with the weekend's events, including welcoming prefrosh and their parents to campus and participating in events across campus.
Reserving a booth at the Welcome Festival or in Lobby 10
MIT student organizations and living groups have the opportunity to engage prefrosh in exciting activities and share their points of view.
