Obituaries
Word has been received of the recent deaths of three staff members
at Lincoln Laboratory.
- Edward T. Gallagher, 80, of Maynard, who worked there from
1951 until his retirement in 1978, died on April 27. He leaves a
son, Edward T. Gallagher, Jr.
- John P. Jones, 64, of Methuen, who worked there from 1965
until 1988, died following a long illness on May 12. Survivors
include his widow, Lucille H. Jones; a son Stephen Jones; and two
daughters, Linda Gleason and Cynthia Jones.
- Robert McGrath, 58, of Dracut, a guard at Millstone, died
suddenly on May 2. He had worked at Lincoln since 1973. He leaves
a sister, Elizabeth White.
Notice of one death from the campus has been received:
- Anna Siemen, 79, of Newton, a former support-staff member in
the Alumni/ae Association, died April 30. Ms. Siemen worked at MIT
from 1968 until her retirement in 1977.
