MISSION STATEMENT

The Nigerian Students Association of MIT strives to increase the awareness of Nigerian culture in the MIT community, to provide a network for students, to educate students about Nigerian culture, politics, and tradition, to establish links between Nigerians living in the US and in Nigeria, and to encourage students to contribute to the prosperity of Nigeria.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Independence Day Party took place on September 30, 2004 on the eve of Nigeria's 44th independence day. We had good representation from Harvard and the diasporic groups at MIT.
