I am a visiting postdoctoral research associate at Hatsopolous Microfluids Laboratory @ MIT, working with Gareth McKinley in the Non-Newtonian
Fluid Dynamics Research Group on a collaborative project with Manuel Alves, FEUP - University of Porto (Portugal) and Fernando Pinho, Universidade do Minho (Portugal).
The main project focuses on extensional flows of dilute elastic aqueous solutions in microfabricated geometries. I am also interested in the
dynamics of DNA coil-stretch transitions observed in microscale
contraction flow.
