The number six club
The Number Six Club is a nationally coed fraternity with a strong international presence. Members come from all corners of the earth, even the USA. As a literary fraternity, we collectively aim to develop a cultured understanding of the world through discussion and debate. Our four-story, ivy-covered house is one of the oldest buildings on campus, located between Burton-Connor and MacGregor.
Our coeducational society is devoted to debating what it means to be a literary society. Should we require bow ties at dinner and play Brahms at our parties, or tag every available surface like C215? Sure we get a kick out of algebraic topology, but every once in a while it’s nice to take off the pocket protector and ask ourselves what Jules Verne intended when writing Paris au XXe siècle. Current members hail from almost twenty countries, so we always have at least one major world conflict in miniature.
