Our research interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology, and we are currently initiating new projects that focus on on the structures, reaction mechanisms, and physiological functions of metalloproteins and peptides involved in immunity or neurodegeneration. Our experimental approach blends the techniques of inorganic and organic chemistry, in vitro enzymology, and cell biology.
