Neutron Beam Ports There are currently a number of neutron beams in use at the MITR-II. These include a neutron chopper facility for time-of-flight and neutron scattering studies, use of a neutron beam for prompt gamma neutron activation analysis, and a neutron interferometer under development. Interested parties should contact Reactor Operations by email. The neutron chopper facility is used for a number of educational programs, including the MIT Junior Physics Laboratory.
