NSBE-MIT Long Range Plan
The Long Range Plan for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers serves as a document that guides the chapter in its implementation of programs and events during the year. It defines the chapter's objectives for each of the seven key business areas, along with goals, strategies, and a means of measuring our chapter's performance in each key business area.

NSBE-MIT Constitution
The Constitution of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers serves as a governing document for the execution of the chapter's executive board and general body. This document is a supplement to both the National and Regional Constitutions and shall only be used to provide further detail for the two. For more information regarding Chapter, Regional, and National documents, check out the media section.

Membership Services

Resume Submission:

Click here to submit your resume to our executive board to ensure that our sponsoring companies get a copy of YOUR resume. Please note, also included on this resume submission form is a request for your shirt size, photo identification, and NSBE identification number. Secondly, this form is used to gain permission to verify your GPA on NSBE On-Line.

Academic Mentorship Program:

Click here to sign up to become a part of the NSBE-MIT Academic Mentorship Program. The goal of the program is to establish a relationship between upperclassmen and underclassmen based on the academic and career interests of the individuals. On the application, we ask for your career goals, you interests and hobbies, and, of course, your major. Depending on the interest on members, all upperclassmen may not be matched with someone, but you can still sign up if you would like to list yourself as a resource for assistance in any classes you have already taken at the Institute.

The Torch:

"The Torch," the official newsletter of the MIT chapter of NSBE, keeps students informed of NSBE events at MIT and provides students a forum for displaying their literal works. In addition, "The Torch" provides a place for the fliers to be both posted and distributed to the membership.

This section will only provide links to "The Torch" for a given year. If you are looking for old newsletters, check out the archives. Note: "The Torch" newsletters are in a "Public" directory and sorted by date.
