Jennifer Choy Oakland Gardens, NY (BS 6/07)	The Roy Axford Award for academic achievement by a senior in Nuclear Science & Engineering
Connor Galloway Oklahoma City, OK (BS apx. 6/08)	The Irving Kaplan Award for academic achievement by a junior in Nuclear Science & Engineering
David Carpenter Decatur, GA (BS/SM 6/06, PhD apx. 6/09)	Outstanding TA Award in recognition of exceptional services to education by a teaching assistant
Chris Handwerk Allentown, PA  (PhD 6/07) Tyler Ellis Piedmont, SD (BS/SM 6/06; PhD apx. 6/09)	Outstanding Student Service Award in recognition of exceptional services to the students, the department and the entire MIT community
NSE Prof  Ronald Parker	Ruth and Joel Spira Award for Distinguished Teaching This award is made possible by a gift from Ruth and Joel S. Spira to acknowledge “the tradition of high quality engineering education at MIT.”
Rachel Batista NSE AAII	The students presented an award to Rachel Batista in appreciation of her dedication and hard work helping the students of NSE.
