Patents

US patent #5,442,668, issued 8/15/1995,
Title: Passive Pressure Tube Light Water Cooled and Moderated Reactor
Patent Holders: N.E. Todreas, M.J. Driscoll, P. Hejzlar, and J.R. Tang

Patent is for a new pressure-tube, light water cooled and moderated reactor of large power output having matrix-type fuel within pressure tubes that allow to dissipate decay heat in the absence of primary coolant without exceeding fuel and pressure tube design limits.
