Ka-Yen Yau ’18

What were your interests in high school?
Creating and appreciating visual art, playing tennis, travelling

What is your favorite activity outside of the classroom?
Walking around the city with friends

Why did you decide to major in course 22?
I chose to do Course 22 because I knew it was important and relevant. I stuck with Course 22 though because its fascinating and I find that I really enjoy it!

What is you most memorable experience so far as a course 22 student?
Easily that time we each had to burn 20 pounds of bananas in 22.01 (thanks, Professor Short).

What would you like to do after graduating?
I’m not sure yet. Energy? Consulting? Nuclear medicine? I’m still young and naive, so the possibilities are still endless!
