What were your interests in high school?
During high school, I was into a lot of different sports, including lacrosse, cross country, baseball, and hockey.

What is your favorite activity outside of the classroom?
My favorite thing to do outside of school work is playing hockey and skating in general. Since I started in high school, it’s been a good way for me to relieve stress and have fun.

Why did you decide to major in course 22?
I decided on course 22 because of how uncommon it is and how useful it will be in the future.

What is you most memorable experience so far as a course 22 student?
My most memorable experience as a course 22 student is definitely UROPing this summer. It was my first time working in a lab, and I really enjoyed the experience.

What would you like to do after graduating?
Since I do Navy ROTC, my career right after graduation is fairly set; I’ll end up joining the nuclear Navy in some fashion. After I finish up my service (which could be 6 years or 30), I’d like to go into reactor design and optimization. At some point, I’d also really like to teach high school.
