Food Stamp Program
Food Stamps are funds that can be spent to buy nutritious food. For most households, food stamps are only part of the budget for food. Food Stamp benefits may be received on an EBT Card that can be used at grocery stores or participating Farmer’s Markets. Eligibility is based on income and the number of people in your household. In addition, the head of the household must work at least 20 hours a week. Call the DES for more information and to apply.
