Efficacy Program

The IAP Efficacy Program is a two-day workshop that challenges the often debilitating belief regarding innate ability that “you either have it or you don’t”, with its parallel implications, that if you’re struggling at MIT, you’re in the latter camp. This workshop, hosted by the non-profit Efficacy Institute, is intended to head off the faulty responses to academic difficulty that are know to derail achievement motivation. The workshop is designed for freshmen and sophomores who experience academic difficulty during the first or a previous semester.
