UROP for All
Students who participate in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) at any time during their MIT career, on average, graduate at higher rates and with a higher cumulative GPA than students who do not participate in UROP. UROP for All is a new multi-year initiative to raise UROP participation rates of underrepresented students.
This initiative will comprise:
- A UROP introduction during MITE2S and Interphase
- UROP participation drives for underrepresented student group membership
- One SAS workshop on securing and keeping a UROP
- Support for paid UROP projects
UROP for All is funded by our industry partners and other external donors.
