[Software] O. Patrick Kreidl received the
B.S. degree in 1994 from George Mason University (GMU) and the
S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in 1996 and 2008, respectively, from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), all in electrical
engineering. He has been a research affiliate at MIT's Laboratory for
Information and Decision Systems since 2008 and a research engineer at
BAE Systems Advanced Information Technologies (formerly Alphatech,
Inc.) since 1996. He has held an adjunct faculty appointment within
GMU's Electrical & Computer Engineering Department (1998-2001) as well
as research positions at the Institute for Defense Analyses (1997) and
the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (1992-1994). His technical
interests are in statistical signal processing, stochastic
systems/control and numerical optimization with application to wireless
sensor networks, mobile ad-hoc networking, computer network security,
multi-vehicle cooperative planning/execution and international
macro-economic forecasting.
