MIT IS/Service - Athena Server Operations

What We Do	Our team centrally supports approximately 125 dedicated server systems, on aproximately five different subnets, in several locations around the MIT campus. These server systems are fundamental to the functioning of the Athena Computing Environment, which supports the academic computing that occurs at MIT. Services include: File (Mainly AFS; minimal NFS ) Zephyr Hesiod Moira Discuss Dialup (Unix Timesharing Systems) Print spooling Tape backup systems (AFS, TSM, other) License Servers Miscellaneous
