Duncan Watts

Duncan Watts has a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of New South Wales and a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University. He has been a postdoc for the past two years -- first at the Center for Social Sciences at Columbia University, and then at the Santa Fe Institute -- and is currently a undertaking a third year as postdoc in the Laboratory for Financial Engineering in the Sloan School. He is the author of "Small Worlds: The dynamics of networks between order and randomness" (Princeton,1999).
